The next time I’m at a Bucks game I’ll shout “Encore!” at the end to see if they’ll keep playing.

I don’t believe Mother Gargle actually lives with the Thrornapples, thankfully. She could go home to watch whatever she wants to. Un-reality shows are probably more to her liking.

You can tell that Mother Gargle has never worked a day in her life! Who doesn’t know that ‘overtime’ is when the boss asks you to stay late at work and you can earn time and a half?

That’s the way we in the orchestra would like to think about it. But, to compare it to a band, it’d be like a really bad band having to go back and redo part of the program till they got it right.

do they at least get paid doing late hours?

One of the best comparisons that I have ever heard…..

If I have only 2 minutes to live I want it to be during a college or pro basketball game because the last two minutes of games go on for an eternity.

It means a bunch of guys run to one end, then run back to the other end. Whenever they get the ball, they try to throw it away. Same as regular time. :) :(

Overtime would be more fun – if it went to the first team to 5 points in overtime. Dropping 3 pointers from everywhere. No time limits – first 5 points. Head em up – move em out. Defense anyone?

Brutus is a genius. They have no idea what game is on. Basketball is on all day and it keeps the witches out of the living room.

Never mind overtime. The final 2 min in a NBA or NFL game can easily last for 30 min

You can always go home a watch your Judge Judy, Gargle.

“It’ll be over when one of them shoots a touchdown”.

Gargle has been living in overtime for years, as far as Brutus is concerned.

Or Count Basie. “One more time!” “One more once!”

Think of it as you’re waiting for the game to be over so you can watch that program you’ve been trying to see for some time.
