I think mr. Thornapple is tired to be your underpaid slave.

Any one who would work for Veeblefester would have to be sick.

Yeah, I’d say it’s a mental illness.

Thornapple is lucky that no one is willing to work at what they are paying him.

Poor Brutus. He’s honest even when he’s playing hooky from work.

You notice he didn’t say he was taking sick time or a sick day. There are no sick days at Veeblefester Enterprises.

Egotistical termed sickness also. Called big fat head street talk. In Bible it’s called PRIDE. It dooms you. Poor Brutus is just humble as moms Apple Pie.

I’ll say he’s sick… he’s being totally literal. :D

And a little inefficient. At least he didn’t call and use his “sick voice”.

Please check if it was sent before or after midnight. That would help clear things up.

Only Brutus Thornapple could screw up something as simple as calling in sick for work.

Brutus gets no respect from Chief…….

Predictive illness, and I’m sure he will make a miraculous recovery tomorrow.

As usual Brutus is conscience but somewhat confusing.

But I seriously thought about it the day before yesterday…

Aren’t we all a little sometimes; or so we say to our boss at least…..

At least he let them know he was planning to be sick.

What’s his name should consider adult education courses. Perhaps he would become happier with their efforts. Only if he wants to be happier.

All things considered I think Brutus is the most sane one in our TBL cast of characters!
