I used to love crunchy peanut butter but it was getting stuck in my teeth so I had to switch to creamy. I wish I didn’t like it since it’s not good for me.
Fun fact, they give you less and they charge you more. The same if you’re lucky. It happens with coffee too. They don’t give you the caffeine and they charge you extra. Lite products, you pay more and they keep the fats and sugars. The evil of the big corporations! :D
I used to sometimes make peanut butter cookies using crunchy peanut butter. My recipe has disappeared, and it was truly the best I ever had. I am too sad to make PB cookies at all anymore. I know when it was lost, I was making cookies with help from a friend for my child’s shower, and I realized not too long after the recipe was gone. My friend did not take it – she has her own recipe she loves. It will pop up some day, but so far, not yet.
See, I told you so Chip, Wilberforce is sharp, he may even be the Einstein that all parents hope for in their kids and why they have kids. Not to mention the fact that the marketing genius becomes rich and supports his aging parents in the style they always wanted to be accustomed to…(Thanks, I loved today’s comic, very funny)

I’ve still never tried the peanut butter with jelly in the same jar yet, but perhaps someday I’ll try it.

Wilberforce, your mom was likely charged extra for the crunchy style peanut butter.

Crunchy is the only way to go. Specifically Krema Crunchy style. Nothing but peanuts. Made in Columbus, OH since 1898!

it could be worse, the jelly could have uncut fruit in it. :}

I prefer smooth peanut butter too, Wilberforce.

So why eat peanut butter if you hate peanuts? An oxymoron there.

Evidently Kroger doesn’t like crunchy peanut butter either because they had peanut butter on sale but no crunchy.

Don’t be surprised if it is called Country Style, Textured, or Homemade.

I like the crunchy kind myself most of the time, but there are times when you need the other kind. Need to be able to go both ways……

I get chunky enough from regular peanut butter – I don’t need the extra encouragement.

Yes. She also paid for water even though it fell from the sky. But don’t worry; she didn’t fall for the other 300 grocery scams on the shelf.

Chunky peanut butter. Peanut butter that they didn’t finish and clocked out early.
