It sounds like Bossman is saying, in his own particular style, that before I become a successful business man I need you to get to work.

If Rancid’s implication is that Brutus isn’t a successful business person he is projecting his own narcissism on our hero. I don’t think Brutus has the ego to deem himself successful. Between Gargoyle and Rancid Brutus has definitely been humbled in life.
