Rancid always has a good word for Brutus.

When I worked for a small factory we had no time clocks. We wrote in our hours. I tried writing in less minutes than I worked. I paid less taxes and made more money…that scheme lasted about 2 weeks. My mother was VP so I just got yelled at!

Possibly he’s more alert because he got to sleep in?

I plan to make even fewer tomorrow!

I had one job where I only ever made one mistake.

I took the job.

The less you work, the fewer mistakes.

Our hero was caught in traffic again.

Where I work…as long as you get your swipe in & “collaborate with someone on anything”…you’re good. No longer about getting anything done…Do a good job get laid off, do a bad job …get laid off….60k layoff in teh last 3 years…Take that Tech Sector…

Never toot your own horn Brutus .

Pointing that out to your boss is also a mistake.

If Brutus was an hour late for work, he’d better steer clear of Bossman and not brag about his doing better at work. Unless he worked an extra hour, which isn’t likely to happen.

If you do nothing, then no mistakes! Give him a promotion!

Hopefully Veeblefester doesn’t start putting two and two together.

Mr V always finding fault with Brutus. Just leave an hour early to make up for arriving hour late.

Some bosses are always looking for faults

Brutus needs a sanity day now and then.

I still remember the comic where Brutus was leaving the office, the boss asked why. He said he was leaving early to make up for the breaks he missed when was out with the flu last week. Paraphrased of course.

So make the bossman happy and leave early, to ensure fewer mistakes.

Sometimes you have to pay them not to work.

Back on the Farm the Govt. always paid us not to plant certain acreage. Best years as farmers we ever saw. Lots of new machinery.

That and tax breaks for capital investments.

The difference being the first is Democrats, the second is Republicans.

Either way, we got new tractors

Rancid sure burst Brutus’s balloon fast! But Brutus asking that question for affirmation from the Boss is absolutely hilarious. If he could only turn his hindsight into foresight he could avoid all the mistakes which have become his brand! If only…
