After asking directions in Boston a couple times, I gave up on the idea. Seriously, you guys live here and can’t tell me how to get to Fenway Park? Last place I asked was a gas station. At least they could sell me a map.

In Vermont I was fortunate enough to contact insomniacs with amateur radio gear. Managed to escape the state without hitting a cow.

In Tucson, one does not need a compass. Mountains? That’s North.

Obsolete…..Roll down the window by hand with a window crank, press the Hi-Lo beam switch with you foot, and shift into gear on the column for 6000 points.

I love how Rory misinterprets things. It makes the strip much funnier.

A telephone booth ought to be in there somewhere.

Signalling a turn by sticking your hand out the window. 500 points.

Following your sports car manual’s daily check list of checking air pressures and topping up oil and radiator. – 5000 points.

Allowing your car to roll backward over your foot as you check your oil. – $5000 emergency room visit.

Remembering to pack a flashlight, a wool blanket, a can of cinders (in winter -for ice,) a thermos of coffee and some snack crackers before leaving on any journey. 1000 points

In summer, knowing where all the best roadside picnic tables are. 500 points

Bench seats, bigger than a thanksgiving table.
