We fostered a rat terrier and her three puppies. She wasn’t exactly domesticated and hide under anything she could. Once the puppies were started on their vaccinations, the family went back to the rescue. We had four dogs at the time.
Currently I have ten Havanese. Seven of them are puppies, both the females went into heat at the same time. Popcorn ( their daddy) had a very busy week.
We have to know our limits. Two active dogs is my limit, and currently we have one. We are fighting “puppy fever”. If we still had our huge fenced in yard we would have given in by now.

We have a friend that does animal foster, my wife and granddaughter like to visit her
I dont know she does it, I would want to keep them all
