For Christians Christmas is supposed to be a time for calm gladness about a good message. It isn’t a time to haplessly grin moronic or laugh out. It’s not called slapstick night, but holy night.
God did not give the world a gift, he gave it salvation; and humans commercialized it and distorted it into the corruption that infects a majority into assuming it is about presents and not salvation.
as the one time taker of the family photo, I love this. I had to choose the spot, organize the gang, get the camera onto the tripod, remember how to use the timer, run to my spot and hope I didn’t blink while making an awkward smile.
Then as I choose through the multiple shots, I try to find one that is the least goofy.
