I remember a number of years ago (during his first stint as host of “The Tonight Show”) Leno read a letter from some cop who was POed that he’d told another cop/donut joke. Within two days he had a photo for his headlines segment that showed a cop car plowed into the back of a donut truck.

@ win: I used to drive a 1981 Ford Escort. Cops would pull me over to laugh at my choice of “car”.
