This is especially true of anthropologists. Does anyone remember the Piltdown man (a deliberate fake), the Nebraska man ( a misidentified peccary bones), or the Peking man (whose original bones disappeared in 1941)?

Dinosaur reconstruction requires a big imagination. I doubt 60 minutes will ever get involved exposing any toy and book makers..or would they?
