Did he choose to include the one lower case “i” among all the other letters being upper case? … or was that part of the painful punishment by the cruel teacher.

This happens when the cartoon-writer gets mad at the cartoon-illustrator ;-)

You know, when I first starting reading the Flying McCoy’s, I thought they were pretty good. Funny, clever, the whole package. So when I woke up this morning to read the paper, I thought, " Great. A good, solid comic strip." And then it was this. Beyond being confusing( Is the repetitive writing the joke they are going for? Or he is correcting the writing?), this is so insensitive. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is, you guessed it, a disorder. It is said to be the third most interruptive mental illness, after bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Sufferers have horrific intrusive thoughts, and then follow out with compulsions to reduce anxiety from these thoughts. The other thing about this is that his teacher is punishing him for this. Who does that? It’s a mental illness. That’s one sucky teacher.Overall,Insensitive to a real mental illness, does not make sense as a comic. Displeased.
