If you raise your voice for any reason, one of my dogs look like you beat him. Best behaved dog I have too.

Our dog has his “Mea Culpa” look down to perfection….drops his head, sad eyes, barely wags his tail, and approaches slowly……just begging for forgiveness.

I use to use those moves on my ex whenever I screwed up. Obviously, it quit working.

We had one who you would always find in a certain corner if something had occurred. I think he thought it was his safety zone.

Had a Dane who behaved in pretty much the same way, Michael.

I always figured it was my fault for leaving the chewed thing out and available.Tiny dog I have now doesn’t show or act sorry for anything until I tell her she did wrong, such as barking and jumping off the bed in the middle of the night or approaching my food dish.

How to speak dog. The same behavior is used to indicate submission to the alpha.
