For those of you who may never have spent many a pleasant hour winning game after game of pinball, . . .
There is an electromagnetic piston inside the pinball machine which BANGS against the wooden wall or floor of the machine when a free game has been won. The sound is very loud and very rewarding. More of a POP than a PAP, but that’s not important.
(It’s been a lot of years. I wonder if I still have the reflexes. I can’t remember the last pinball machine I saw.)
“PAP”? I might accept “FWAP”, but around these parts the extra-game noise has always been “THWHOCK”. Three extra games at one time is “THWHOCK-OCK-OCK”.
i loved playing pinball as a kid. i wasn’t real good at it but i still enjoyed it just the same especially when i would play it along with my nieces and nephews.
I think this is a coincidence but the coin slot looks like it says ‘BD’ which in French stands for ‘Bande Dessinée’ (usually shortened to BD) which means Comic strip/book!

I think Wallace should have been there with his Dad- Spud’s not really into Pinball.

I’m surprised the seagull wasn’t scared by the free games noise, like Spud was.
