Reminds me of the times my 8th grade science teacher would run movies backwards. The class loved it.

Remember playing vinyl records backwards to listen for secret messages..?

The exclamation marks and question mark should be at the beginning, not end.

Took me a minute to realize I should be reading from the bottom up. Wallace & Spud really thought this through!

It works in text, but speaking backward is way harder. My family used to mess around with the Windows Sound Recorder, a very simple audio program that could play recordings backward. My dad and older brother wrote out a backward answering machine message, syllable by syllable, recorded it with emphases on final H’s and sounds like that, and then we played it backward so it was, in theory, the right way ’round. In practice, it sounded like an alien attempting Human for the first time! “Hhhhallo. Yew hhhaf reeeched tha (mangled surname). Plis lif yur namehand nimBAR.”
