Wallace can really sell a story, can’t he? Those eyes …
Even the teacher is mesmerized.
“And then he asked me to disco with him!”
Generally I would expect Rose to look somewhat sceptical.
Sasquatch’s name? Chewbacca!!
And the game is a[big]foot!!
The hand of the Bigfoot.
Seagull in the hall.
My nephew was obsessed with Big Foot for awhile. I got him a 14" high Big Foot statue for Christmas. He loved it.
Apparently, there is no rule about sitting on your desk.
A good story wins the day – again.
Class field trip!!
And…he took all my beef jerky!
You know he’s a great storyteller when everyone, including The Teacher, says WWWhhhoooaaahhh!
He’ll make a good fisherman with that ability to tell tall tales; also a pretty good writer it would seem…..
Wallace the story teller
Even Mrs. Macintosh is taking it easy on the first day of school. Also, cute addition of Seagull in the third panel.
But was it really Sasquatch or … [shudder] Ben Benson!?
Back to school, Wallace is telling a field story full of danger, worthy of Kurt Vonnegut Jr
Love how the teacher is also engrossed! (quick fact-check tho: everyone knows Big Foot lives in rural Oregon ;P )
Whooooah!
Wallace’s pepper should have grown by now
Wallace is a true storyteller.
Seagull loves this story!
There really is a “Trustom Pond” in RI. Points to Henry for authenticity.
Methink the teacher is saying Whoooaaaa! for a wholly different reason, haha.
Seagull said “No way!“ but, of course, he’s out of sight.
