    OMG. I agree with Spud.

    This is totally unreasonable.

Did Spud’s mom replace cabbage with kale?

Is Spud’s mom related to Andy from Foxtrot?

We knew that Spud’s mom was evil, but this is proof that she’s been over the bar at least once in the past.

Someone tell Spud that St. Patrick’s Day is NEXT week? Maybe Mom is just edging up to the authentic entree??

To be fair, if someone put tofu in front of me, I wouldn’t eat there anymore either. That stuff is just gross. Tastes like wet mothballs and chews like leather.

One of my favourite restaurants always respects St. Patrick (& Jiggs and Maggie) with corned beef and cabbage. It’s been almost a year since my last “feed.”

If it’s any consolation, they prefer ham and cabbage in Ireland

Stir-fried with Turmeric and heaped in a small kettle, it might look a bit like a pot-o-gold.

Easy to make mushroom tofu loaf. Just don’t give it anything to do.

I agree with the posts about St. Patrick’s Day being next week. I wonder if someone got their wires crossed. I’m still hoping to hear how it turned out for the Red Panda. Did he get a reward from the principal?

A true St. Patrick dinner should include snake.

Just get a reuben. It’s got saurkraut (cabbage) and pastrami (aka brisket aka corned beef).

Yeah, hard to NOT sympathize with Spud here. I get people are trying to find clever ways to still have their favorite foods AND still upkeep on whatever fad diet they’re trying out now, but you just can’t go substituting foods in meals and expect other people to like it equally.

Especially if they’re the people that didn’t ask to be part of your diet in the first place, as is so often the case with other family members of a dieter.
