Jed, Granny and Ellie Mae were much happier in their shack than in Beverley Hills. It was Pearl Bodine (mother to Jethro) who persuaded them to move.

You never really know what you have until you lose it…

The ulcer isn’t the badge of honor for Type As like it used to be. Probably because they found out most are caused by an infection rather than stress.

By medieval peasant standards, he’s very well-off. Two dogs, only three kids, a wife who apparently didn’t die in childbirth, and a private hut with a non-thatched roof.

Well another grand misdiagnosis.
