I like fruitcake. I make my own fruitcake.

I use oatmeal instead of flour.

Bet it’s the best fruitcake they almost took a bite of.

Now there’s a fruitcake with a back story.

Christmas fruit cakes and cockroaches…the only things that will survive the apocalypse.

I sliced up a fruitcake and put it on a plate for my Christmas guests without telling them what it was. They loved it. I think most of the fruitcake jokes are from people who have never tried one.

I would agree with Flash…. I do like fruitcake if it’s made correctly. My sister makes fantastic fruitcake. She makes it every year, and give the small loaves out to people who ASK for them. Usually about two dozen. And my brother makes pfeffernusse with my grandmother’s recipe. They are very tasty! Same deal… he’ll give some out to people who ASK for it. Yummo!

Every year I have to make two fruitcakes, everyone knows what it is and they love it.
