Rodney needs to do better with giving the treat. Keep your fingers above the treat so that when the treat is taken aggressively you provide a short sharp rap to the snout. Works all the time with dogs!
One of my friends owns a bull mastiff…every time I give that dog a treat, I feel like Jonah being gobbled up by the leviathan …dog slobber up to the elbow.
