I watched the movie “Just Mercy” last night. This comic is crass and out of touch with the reality of the times. Capital Punishment is no laughing matter!

I can imagine the remedies they had back then.

Stomach ache…..gut punch

Laceration…..burnt ashes and duck tape on the wound

Headache and nausea…..lots and lots of mead

High fever…..bottom of an icy river

Common cold……drink boiling water

Back issues……bear hug (from an actual bear)

Ten swallows of water without taking a breath. Cures hiccups every time!
