Annnnd that is where you would lose me. I enjoy night time strolls. On a seaside adventure. The mix of stars and the reflection on the water. The sounds of the water lapping against the coast. The smell that is so distinctive to call it the ocean. Sand between my toes as I walk without shoes. All of that is ruined with the sounds of people. The judgmental looks. The bratty kids who think it funny to throw sand at everyone. The people whizzing in the water. And the mounds of trash. People is not why I would go.

They are keeping social distancing.

So they’re in Lilliput?

3rd panel outline of Fink’s head doesn’t seem to match profile. Looks more like a hat than a crown.

People…especially certain people in certain outfits on the beach…

Um, so what are you two doing there?

Yeah. People. Not wearing masks, not social distancing. That would be just a few reasons I would stay away from the beach.

Yeah. That is pretty much what the pictures of beaches look like these days.

Oy! Anything goes in cartoons! Dissecting them simply takes away, all the funniness and element of surprise out of them!

Rodney-people is why “we” stay away.

Look like devi-ants to me.

Are the strip panels out of order? It makes more sense if you read from right to left. Still not funny, though.

Anyone having a problem with blank comics?

Everything is there except the comic strip?

During Covid, it is both tempting and unwise to seek other people. As long as they keep their distance, I want to see people. I live alone.

I was thinking back to a few weeks ago when Rodney was sunbathing on the beach (in his metal armor!) – and then the king said the break was over. Then we saw it was a fake beach inside the castle.

So I thought the first panel was on their ‘beach’, the 2nd panel walking out onto the high balcony, and the 3rd panel looking down from that balcony at the real beach.

That was just my guess.

Yeah, it’s hot, uncomfortable, sandy, the water is full of salt, and Jaws is just offshore; lot’s of reasons.

Some people draw you, some people repel you. The king does a bit of both.

Get them off my beach!
