Hmm, kind of a mixed reference here. Maleficent used a cursed spinning wheel needle for her spell on Sleeping Beauty. The poisoned apples were used by the Evil Queen from Snow White.

What happened to her wings?

How long can one survive sleeping? I mean, the human body still needs food and water.

Whoops… wrong movie. “Snow White” was the poison apples, not “Sleeping Beauty”, which was Maleficent’s movie.

Another “colorized” version which makes the comic more understandable. My newspaper doesn’t print colored comics during the week and it was too small to see the details. It wasn’t obvious that “Mama” was selling poisoned apples.

The Evil Queen (disguised as a peddler) would sell poison apples that would put Snow White in a “deep sleep”. Wiz and Blanche would have had to pass a Spinning Wheel stand.
