What I find amusing about all the comments condemning cartoon characters for their dependence on electronic devices is that we are all reading these comics and commenting with those same electronic devices.
While I may read and comment on cartoons on my home computer, my phone is a basic model on which I make/receive phone calls and receive/send the most basic texts. As a semi technophobe baby boomer, I feel no need to walk around with my eyes glued to some fancy smart phone, stepping blindly into traffic or falling into a mall fountain! I did, however, when I was younger, wander around with my nose in a new book that I couldn’t WAIT to read. Fortunately, my friends kept me from running into/falling into anything until I got safely home. I can still fall into books to the point that I’m oblivious to anything else…but now I’m smart enough to wait until I’m in a comfy chair at home!

If a babe who looks like that is your GF, a phone is a poor second.

He’s a mollennial. His life is his phone. Without it he’s virtually mindless zombie.

What is it about him she likes so much? Or is that she’s limited to the characters in the strip?

I am so glad that my life does not depend on a hand held electronic device to be “complete”.

He’s so lucky that she has the patience of a saint. And such terrible taste in men.

Reminds me of the Steve Martin film when he gets excited about the new phone books.
