They first appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation on May 8th, 1989 on the episode called, “Q Who” on TV and in the movies on November 22, 1996 in, “First Contact”.
I tried to fix the typos. but every so often the site has an issue where it won;t accept a corrected version when posted. Then I have to email the syndicate and ask them why. I posted the correct version to the FTP, so we’ll see,
My email version does say Star Wars, but I also mentally edited it to Star Trek because I noticed the word Borg first. It took me a second look to get the gag.
It could still work with “Star Trek”, because there were numerous examples to choose from, and that might get that reaction from Roy. But I think, in that case, Roy would just do a “Sheldon”, and pontificate for far too long on every episode that featured the Borg… ☺

Oops, left out a “do” in Kathy’s words, Scott.

But now Roy won’t produce any work until he figures out the episode.

She should have said, “Which episode of Star Wars featured the Borg?”

There’s a ‘do’ missing there. Did it run away screaming in horror?

Sadistic power.

I think we need to drop the “you” or add a “do”… Did the question give Roy an attack of Brain Freeze from overactive recall?

I think it was the one where Luke learned about his father.

I have a copy of a meme that has a picture of a Dalek captioned “It’s R2D2, my favorite character from Star Trek” and “How to piss off 3 fandoms”

Rita made the mistake on purpose it seems. Just to make Roy collapse for the fun of it.

On a different topic, what is that thing in Rita’s hand? It looks like an aerosol can but I can’t imagine of what.

Look at Roy’s eye! It’s showing the Blue Screen of Death…
