My bet is on Mrs Jenson being the one who spoke the truth … as I don’t think there is much Rita could do to her that would cause Mrs Jenson any concern.
As for Sal, he must have said something dumb (yeah, I know) to someone… (shades of July 23) … Not the same guy as then, as this stapler is grey instead of red…
Yakamoto shook his head. “I’ve seen enough episodes of Perry Mason to realize that you should never ask a question for which you do not know the answer.”
HR sent out an “anonymous” poll to find out how workers viewed their managers, looking for answers why morale was so low. Our group’s boss was a total jerk, and his polls reflected it… after he was given his results he held a mandatory group meeting where he berated us for criticizing him… then he turned around and announced that he was thrilled with those results because “it proved he was the best leader” since “the best leaders have controversy”. So instead of making things better, HR’s poll made things worse.
Bad decisions and revenge firings eventually caused that boss to get demoted. But the failures reached all of the way up the management chain, and that company was gone a few years later.
This is about Macro Micro Media; however, one could substitute virtually any corporate name in the world and the replies would be just as valid. (Works for governments as well.)

I think Sal is late to the meeting. Yet another thing wrong with this company: punctuality!
