Good for somebody.

I guess that’s one way to get excused from dinner.

“People are starving in Europe. Eat your dinner.” Mom’s post war mantra.

Mom gave Zack a One Star rating for his question/comment.

Our requirement was at least try one bite of everything on the plate. Mom was a good cook, it usually all got eaten.

Nooooo! It’s all them six packs he’s been guzzling cause it’s hot out.

Are you going to be able to sit down, Zack?

I’m fat because I’d clean my plate 2 or 3 times…

He got away from the table and that’s what he wanted….y

I don’t think he’s fat. But Zack’s mom’s reaction is awesome.

Being a child of the 50’s I’d be picking myself up off the floor if I’d made a remark like that. I appreciate the sore behind here – (hand) board of education applied to the seat of learning.

In the early 80’s I would get yelled at for suggesting my sister use common sense or for correcting her grammar. I was never critical, I just wanted to help. Carl definitely overstepped.
