Well, we can buy you a smart looking $199 set of pants, (slacks or trousers in the U.K.) and if you wear them, people you meet will immediately think your IQ has risen by 50 points.
Sometimes it’s smarter to do without continuing education Zigster. You wind up in debt for thousands of dollars with a useless degree to show for it.:/
$200 in used books of the right subject and proper author could do wonders. however for modern “college” indoctrination the $200 would buy you one textbook for one class. js
The Wizard of Oz to Scarecrow: “Back where I come from, we have universities, seats of great learning, where men go to become great thinkers. And when they come out, they think deep thoughts and with no more brains than you have. But they have one thing you haven’t got: a diploma.”
So, as Woody did on Cheers – just buy yourself that trophy!
It is easier for a smart person to become smarter than for a dumb person to learn more. Dumb people think they already know everything and are not open to learning anything new.
You won’t be any smarter Ziggy, just have a larger pool of knowledge to draw from. And you can buy a number of books for $200 that will help you do that. Or you can search on line. Lots of collages are putting their lectures up and you can watch for free. Because you will not be tied into just one teacher or one collage you can get more information delivered in a number of styles that will give you a fuller understanding as well.
“Sorry sir but higher education is now dedicated to leftist indoctrination: Making you dumber and badly informed. For $200 we can tell you ‘Trump is a bad man’ ten times.”

If it’s Trump University, you didn’t get smarter, but perhaps you got a little wiser, albeit a pit poorer than you were before.

I find self-instruction is the best method of continuing education. 3rd party accreditation is overrated and expensive.
