A question for any active or former paratroopers: Is there any validity to the rumor of a paratrooper, after a successful ’chute opening, found himself floating over the city?

Well it is a More Eco-Friendly way to fly, however I am not going to try that. I think the landings would be catastrophic and pain full. You all can go that way if you like.

Those caps look more like driving caps than pilot hats. And do commercial pilots actually wear their hats in the cockpit? I doubt they put their headsets on over them if they do.
