Yeah, because inflation just suddenly existed. Sheesh. In the early 70’s you could buy a loaded Cadillac for about $7,000. It’s been decades since that price was available, not just now.
A little inflation is easier to cope with than a lot of inflation, aka non-stop avalanche. The idea that a lot of inflation is good tends to come from the minds of people wanting to cripple or end the buying power of the masses. Such people do this to appropriate the power of the masses, leaving them, they hope, dependent or totally dependent.
