Let me guess… that container is a 60’s-70’s shade of yellow, orange or green

The container isn’t as malleable as your flesh, dear lady!

Living has its risks, but also its rewards, such as no Tupperware container might understand or appreciate.

Why do sugar softeners have designs carved (or pressed, or cut—I don’t know the process) into them?

I miss Tupperware – it was sturdy and lasted forever. The Chinese cr*p that Walmart sells is no substitute for it. A lifetime ago I dated a Tupperware lady…

Love that style of canister! Which color is it?

I knew I was a true grownup when my mother handed down the family cranberry sauce dish, only to be used on Thanksgiving. We too will live out our days together. Just don’t tell my mother I use it even when it’s not Thanksgiving.

Growing up, our family, being slightly strange, kept brown sugar in a flip top/pour spout screw on lid Tupperware container. The spoon handle stuck up into the pour spout when it was full. I am pretty sure my sister has it now.

When I got my own place, how do you think I stored my brown sugar? Mine is “only” from 1995. Both clear/frosted, if anyone wondered.

It’s amazing. Tupperware is actually better than the plastic containers you can buy at the store. Even so, I try to avoid the parties.

Perhaps you need someone to burp you? It sure helps Tupperware keep its shape.

If the brown sugar is truly moving, you’d better check the seal on the lid!

Got my first Tupperware containers, bowls and cans when I was 18. And still have and use some of them. Now I am 71. ☺

Showing my age here, but as Tupperware started selling in 1946 I was to arrive in the world 4 years later. I don’t remember seeing it in the kitchen until sometime in the late 60’s. It was the Avocado Green I believe.
