I suspect couples that work from home do this frequently. My son and his partner both work from home alot. Separate parts of a large house. They both share cooking, shopping, dog and cat, and when there home, kid care. She’s a realtor, so is often gone alot. I’ve never seen them not calling or texting each other for one reason or another. Now I’ve been added to their mix of other things that need to be taken care of. Yes, I feel very bad about adding to the mix on that list, but even I text them more than ever even though I don’t live with them.
You could always do the old “Let’s eat out tonight. Okay, where do you want to eat? I don’t know what are you hungry for? I don’t care. What do you want?” back and forth for twenty minutes . . . IF you need a little variety.

I always forward my husband “Trying something new tonight.” At least 9 of 10 times he has liked it!
