Even if Andy got a beer tasters job, he’d be unhappy. Professional tasters don’t swallow what they’re tasting.. Swill it around and spit it out ! Definitely, not Andy’s style !!
@AffieI’ve never had a car that talked to me ( and got away with it. ) and it’s one of the reason I don’t like “Navigators” in a vehicle. It comes from years of having backseat drivers, starting with my late mother and including a couple of ex’s.Having a computer program talking to me is just too much !When I’ve purchased new vehicles, I have had the “voice” system deactivated. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that with the human ones….
@beviekThat John Wayne ad for Camels brought back memories. My Dad was a Camel smoker all his life until he finally quite cigarettes in his seventies and went to a pipe. I started smoking Camels ( filching from Dad’s pack – not thinking that he, of course, knew exactly how many smokes he had. ) Most of my smoking years ( and they were many ) I smoked non-filtered Luckies, or Pall Malls. I quit cold turkey, 30 years ago and don’t miss my 2 pack-a-day addiction one single bit. While John Wayne didn’t die of lung cancer, he did die, at 72, of stomach cancer, no doubt exacerbated by his heavy smoking and hard drinking.
A good day to all readers.-————@afficiando: Time flies when you’re are having fun.-————@beviek: Love the cellphone caption.-————Be healthy, wealthy and wise my friends.
Some aeons back I remember Andy applying for an actual job along those lines… -————————————————————————————-I don’t remember the story lines but that doses sound familiar.
Sorry, John Wayne (RIP) & attractive model the last time I tried a camel (prior to October 29, 2001’s last cigarette) I thought they were quite harsh! Although, years before I smoked them but when the price rose to $1.10 a carton (overseas military price) I switched to Pall Mall as they were longer!
Re: John Wayne & SmokingDespite the suggestion that Wayne’s 1964 lung cancer and his 1979 stomach cancer resulted from nuclear contamination, he believed his lung cancer to have been a result of his six-packs-a-day cigarette habit.(From Wikipedia)

That is a non-existing job Andy! Have a good Monday Cappers.

Even if that job were real, Andy wouldn’t be able to cope with the “part-time” aspect.

I find the Job Centre staff polite and friendly where I am.
But I’m not saying they are all friendly because there is always one.
Just haven’t met him/her yet.

@BevI enjoyed your Moscow flash mob post. However it looks too perfect to be spontaneous. Oviously choreographed but very entertaining.
