@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny our HERO Mr Andrew Capp would have no luck at all if it’s not bad luck and they say that disasters always go in trees so what’s next , not a corona virus infection surely because Andy has too little blood in his alcohol stream :o) my avatar is of a wishing well made from scrap wood that I made myself so if you throw a coin it will grant you a wish , as soon as I brought it home from my workshop Bella jumped into it , how was your day in controlled freedom , our Manic Monday should be busy as usual but we should cope I hope BCNU pal
If I ever have the misfortune of getting Coronavirus then I want to sign up to donate my blood plasma afterwards because the antibodies are supposed to help other COVID patients recover faster. It’s all a trial at the moment. I’m not going to be one of those people who say “It will never happen to me” because it can happen to anyone.
We have a wishing well in our front garden and my Mum has put solar lights around it. We have those lights in the back garden as well. They look so pretty when they switch on at night. It’s like a magical fairy garden. It’s a shame that the brickwork and wooden fence is looking shabby though. Thankfully you can’t see that in the dark.
We also have a dragon plant in the kitchen. I love big plants.
Today’s strip perfectly sums up 2020: just one long horrible bad day where nothing goes right and everything goes wrong. UGH! XQ The sooner this awful nightmare of a year ends, the better!

In these most modern of times, I have no problem believing a power outage would shut a bar down. When I was a kid, no one would have even noticed.

As long as it isn’t a city-wide power cut you have options, you poor old sod.

Andy’s reaction pretty much sums up at least 70% of the UK when the pubs are shut.
