Over the last month, I’ve been following a motorcycle Vlogger by the name of Itchy Boots as she has traveled across Turkey. I was amazed at the scenery and the people she encountered. I would jump at the chance to go there.

The US State Department’s current travel advisory for Turkey/Türkiye is Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution due to terrorism and arbitrary detentions, with a Do Not Travel to Sirnak province, Hakkari province, & any area within six miles (10 kilometers) of the Syrian border due to terrorism.
Cheaper than flying to the Mideast. Been there, done that. Once was enough. Got plenty of ethnic restaurants where I live to keep the Boss Lady and I busy until we pass on….
