My cat did that once. I let him out into the rain just like he wanted. A cat needs to be careful about what he wishes for.

Stop messing about, Arlo. Stop the rain now.

Open door. Throw cat. Count to two. Open door.

Knowing cats, he would look at Arlo like, “What did you do that for?”

Cat, “Turn off that sprinkle NOW!”

I have this same “discussion” with my cats about hot weather. I hate it just as much as they do but they expect me to do something about it. Sorry kitty, I’m not God.

Cats need to be indoors.

I never have this problem with my cats. I couldn’t run them outside!! They know they got it made inside

If I open the front door to show her it’s raining, she goes to the back door to see if it’s raining there too. After all, one never knows.

I have a cat that likes the rain, and water. He’ll lay outside during a rain, until the thunder starts. He’s also been known to get in the shower with my wife or myself and he’s sat down in the bathtub with me a time or two. And he loves bath time!His sister is almost, but not quite, as fond of water.

Make the rain stop.

He wants Arlo to cover his eyes so he won’t see the lightning.

You do realize this makes perfect sense, don’t you? Who makes all the water places in the house start and stop? Of course cats think humans can control the rain; it’s only logical.

I have one cat that goes out in the rain, plays in the snow…they other 3 want nothing to do with anything called weather.
