He goes to that store regularly and walks right by it. You see things and they just don’t register. I catch myself asking when did they open that store only to be told it has been there for over a year.
A friend’s kid had a stack of DVDs on his dresser. He gave me his favorite to take home and watch. Took awhile for me to find the CD/DVD player that plugs into my computer, and then I had to search online for the software to play it. The movie sucked but I didn’t tell the kid that.
Arlo & I are a lot alike. I grew up in a city where at one time I could tell you every street name where it went, etc. My wife grew up in a small town 14 miles away…..well guess who now has to tell me where those streets in my city are? Yes, my loving wife tells me what street it is on, and what landmarks to look for. Same with going to stores, where items are at, as to whether they are on top, middle, lower shelf, or on the endcap.
I thought those were just red refrigerators for alcoholic beverages that need to be refrigerated. What? Alcoholic beverages don’t need to be refrigerated? Why doesn’t somebody tell me these things? Also, where I parked.
Don’t know if they’re still around here. It’s been at least 4 or 5 years, since I found a DVD in a case, in a cart outside Walmart, (Which I turned in to customer service). Up until then I didn’t know the store had one.
They have them where I live and some weeks the new movies for the week are not put in the mechine at every keiosk for the whole city but it is a lot cheeper the my cable systems movies on demand.

If I could just convince a certain someone, I could free up a cubic yard of space by tossing our old VCRs.

Looks like Arlo has one of the few DVD machines that remain working.

At least he discovered it before it became totally obsolete and they removed the machine.

And in this breaking news to Arlo, the Blockbuster Video store in Bend, Oregon is the last remaining Blockbuster…..
