It’s a calendar rule. This is as late as Turkey Day can be but it can’t possibly be the first time it has happened.

I do this to people all the time. Suddenly give them the end of the discussion I’ve been having in my head.

What was Arlo thinking about that made him feel so guilty?

Cry Havoc and Let Loose the Hounds of War!! The chaos of the holidays is always a thrill.

Here in northernmost Maine we’ve hardly had any snow this year and the daytime temperatures are still in the thirties and forties. It’s hard to believe the lake in front of me will be frozen over in five weeks and they’ll be putting out ice fishing shacks by January.

Let’s see. . . Janis is going to have a nice turkey dinner, then shop for Christmas gifts for her loved ones, then adorn her house and a tree for Christmas, and then see the kids during the holidays….yet she finds something to gripe about. I’m thinking she’s forgotten the “Thanks” in Thanksgiving and needs a reality check to realize how fortunate she really is.

Who even knows how many days are between holidays? I know, I know, some others do this, but it sure completely escapes the attention of plenty of other-others . .

Whats the problem?

The fact is that Janice was in the middle of a conversation with herself and Arlo only heard the end and has no idea what she is talking about

Certainly glad I have done no shopping, Christmas cards or pretty much anything…

That’s why they install fans.
