My problem with moving to South/coast is the weather does not seem to be improving. After the āblessingsā of hurricanes, they appear to have collected tornado alley. (Okie by birth).
Iām so over this story line. Itās obvious mom and dad donāt want to move there. If they did, they would be miserable. Just visit once a year and move on.
Always fun looking. We looked at a place last Friday: 2.43 acres, house, guest house, swimming pool, solar. Original 1880 terracotta basement, cracked all over, rats, leaks, etc. Hard pass.
I suspect a baby on the way. Can Meg adjust? Can Janis stay home? Can Arlo not cut off his hand making baby furniture? Stand by Gentle Readers: All will be revealed.
The kids look like the cat that swallowed the canary but have some exciting news to share. I recommend Jimi if it is a boy and Grace if it is a girl (In keeping with the name of the strip).
Itās funny how the kids want to move far away from the folks until they need them again when their kids come along. Meanwhile the parents sell their home, hopefully for a gain and buy another house hopefully with just a small mortgage and have to work hard to pay that off just cause the kids want a free sitter. Then when the kids are 13/14 the grands are no longer needed and are in a place they did not want to bee. Self-centered thoughtless parents.

What kind of plot twist could JJ have in mind? Big smiles definitely mean somethingās different.

Moving is a lot of work. At my age I think I only have one more move in me. Well maybe two if you count a funeral home.

My moving is on the back burner for life, I have found my dream home and I own it. Life is good and I will be here till I die.
