I have one of the three left I bought my late Wife, all from Our Own Candle company. The last one she would not let me light. I guess now is as good a time as any.

I like that.

Are they scented candles?

Yes, yes it is.

I’m afraid to light candles around the cats, although I should since I feel very serene around them.

Beeswax candles clean the air!!!!!

So the maid fairy paid you a visit?

No candles for me. They were very popular when I was in college (decades ago), and both my sister’s dorm and a friend’s dorm burned down because of them.

Around the same time, I bought a small candle in a glass holder. The glass got hot and exploded, sending pieces of glass and hot wax flying through the air. Fortunately, the flame was extinguished and it did not start a fire.

Um…Ged…it’s impossible to knit with your hands in that position…or at any rate, I’ve never seen anyone manage it that way… #PickyPickyPicky

Never mind the “deep cleaning”; candles burning in a safe place in a reasonably tidy home are another level of peace!

Except for the stench of burning candle wax…

I love this peaceful side of Aunty’s personality.

I’m surprised nobody commented on the fire in the fireplace that has no support or screen in front.

Didn’t bother with any Candles last night, but, I did light the Fireplace.
