And if it’s on the market, Aunty also had to look at all 47 pictures. (They haven’t updated their kitchen and bathroom, and they’re asking that much?!?!)
Aunty, you poor misguided soul. We payed sooooooo much less than what Zillow shows our house to be worth now. But then we have lived here a few and have paid off the house so our equity is 100%.
I have only ever gone on Zillow once and that was right after my ex husband left me and filed for divorce and then bought a house a month after he left so I looked it up on Zillow to see where it is and the pictures to see if it was worth the money he paid. He duidn’t even tell me he bought a house, I was told he was living with his mother until after divorce was finalized, which took 2 years because of him, and he could see what he could afford but our local newspaper puts property deeds for our county in every Saturday issue of the paper and that is where I saw it, I flipped out and sent him an angry email then I found out during divorce proceedings that he took all the money out of a pension savings account that I was supposed to get part of and used it for the down payment. Me and my lawyer didn’t let him get away with that, we made sure I got half the amount as a cash settlement in divorce. Boy was he mad about that.
I sorta did that once. The house next to mine is Rental. One afternoon, there was a"For Rent" sign out front, so I checked the web site to see how much the Rent was.

The Rent was twice my monthly mortgage payment.
Same size house.
