Crawling into bed with my kids when they were scared or not feeling well and wanted to sleep with us was actually a good solution.

Their small beds were pretty cramped for BOTH of us, and they felt “All better. You can go back to your own bed, Mom”" much sooner than they did when tucked into OUR bed with us.

His nose grows in the dark.

If Darryl’s feet swell, he’ll have trouble putting his shoes on in the morning.

Gawd that nose, guys. Can’t you get it down a bit? It looks like he’d get neck and upper back pain.

Sometimes if l’m lying uncomfortably, the only thing to go to sleep is my right foot.

I grew up on a farm. The farmhouse had 2 bedrooms. Ours had 3 sets of bunk beds and mom and dad had the other, and there was no door between them. I don’t remember hearing romantic sounds, but somehow they had 7 children.

Why is his bed so short? Is that a thing that you buy kids an in-between bed? For what purpose? They will just outgrow it in a few years.

Apparently, Hammie has a Youth Bed.

Oh, this brings back memories. Not of sharing a bed with my kids, but of sleeping on the floor next to their beds. I’d bring in a Thermarest, pillow, and blanket.

I remember having to lay in bed with my then very young son 40 years ago, so he sleep, and then I try to slip out not easy. Our daughter no issue I always knew when nap or bedtime came.
