USE THE DOOR HANDLE AZZWHOLE!

Nothing works like a good old-fashioned door handle. Where can I get some of this Nothing? Is Nothing better than a door open thingy?

I don’t know if it’s a unversal aspect of design, but it’s my experience that doors with actuators don’t normally simply swing out of the way when pushed/pulled. There’s resistance before the door notices it’s being moved, then the actuator cuts in anyway. Personally I’d rather simply hit the switch than stress the actuator.

Before you complain about the lazy idiots using the ‘Door Assist’ button, Just think about all the infectious germs that they aren’t leaving on the door handle, and be thankful.

what would he do if encountered an escalator not working? (might be on break, though…)

He’d be stranded on an inoperative escalator.

how does the buttton know if you are handicapped or not?

This ‘joke’ being beaten to the ground has me remembering why I stopped following this strip…

Like a motorist assist call I once answered. Young lady was in a panic because the battery in her remote was dead and she “couldn’t unlock her car”. I suggested using the key in the lock – and that worked fine.

how many doors to they have to go through. Is this the entrance to a secret lair? The door opening thingy isn’t working because your Facial Recognition wasn’t recognized? All these doors remind me of the opening of Get Smart

Reminds me of the people who got stuck on an escalator.
