It is never how much but how well.

I’m 42 – I still haven’t grown out of having fun! Why should I??? How DULL would that be!

I’d love an excuse to dance salsa again

That’s a real stick in the mud you have there Bub

Betty, having decided she can’t have fun, now wonders if she ever did.

That’s incredibly depressing.

Well she got her daddy’s car

And she’s cruisin’ through the hamburger stand now

Seems she forgot all about the library

Like she told her old man now

And with the radio blasting

Goes cruising just as fast as she can now

Yes. Especially later…

Only rarely have I stayed to the end of a party. Early morning disease is a curse.

Betty is the epitome of “party-pooper”. She is the poster child for negativity. She needs to lighten up.

The recovery time.. after the party.. is what puts a damper on doing it again. Takes a few years but eventually you get to know the price is not worth the.. fun

I never found it “fun” the morning after.

when I was doing theater, the best audiences had a group from The Red Hat Society in it. Those gals were out expecting to have fun!

I think that really is the point Betty – it WAS fun when you were younger, but it isn’t now and so fun has to be redefined.

When did the word “party” start to mean alcohol? When we were kids it meant charades, or, even better, ice-cream!!!

The hangovers definitely weren’t fun!

Yes we had fun, it matures into enjoyment, if done right. (It helps if someone else is doing the work, of throwing the party) *

I’m nearly 60 and I am still having fun. It is a different fun but I still laugh.
