Okay, so the entire week dragged on the fact that Mrs. Godfrey was said to not be teaching sixth grade this year. There’s still obviously going to be a twist that will be bad news for Nate.

The fact that moving up grades is like being dead,

Maybe the witch will actually STAY dead. But that’s probably unlikely.

Smh. The whole week, this arc has been on Naruto levels of filler. Hopefully next week will be worth all this filler/buildup and not just some letdown, though I’m ready to be disappointed.

I’m hoping I’m wrong and that all this buildup/filler won’t be disappointing and the effects of Mrs. Godfrey moving up to 8th grade will at least last a month or two.

I know we’re all hoping for a permanent change, but we all know that’s not going to happen. Besides, Mrs. Godfrey has always been the bread and butter of Big Nate as a main antagonist, so I would understand the refusal to remove her completely.

Fingers crossed, miracles and huge permanent changes do happen once in a blue moon…

If Mrs. Godfrey does move to 8th grade In two years Nat will be in 8th grade and she will be his teacher again. Of course two years in comic time is a long time.

Unrelated, but I looked at today’s date and I realized, I’m already six months on GoComics! Woo-hoo!

The pace and detail of the obvious set up to this epic fail plot is getting tedious. More than Monday and I just won’t care anymore. Mr. Peirce, please drop the shoe already!

My first poll: does anyone else think the arcs lately have been rather disappointing? I am a true Big Nate fan, and yet here I am saying this.

After wednesday I started to hope Mrs.Godfrey does permanently leave, not because she is a bad teacher, she is not a bad teacher, but because it could bring a ton of new ideas to the strip, which are desperately needed because Peirce is running out of ideas. But, sadly it probably wont happen and on monday/tuesday/wednesday he’ll probably end up realizing she is still there. Especially since they never said she’d stop teaching 6th, this is clearly set up to be a twist to the point where it wouldnt even be a twist at this point, a real twist would be her actually moving to 8th and no longer teaching 6th

Hey guys see if you can read this: “hlelo waht is yuor nmae” i bet you thought of “hello what is your name” this is because the human brain usually only recognized the 1st and last letter of a word which means that the human brain can understand improper grammar very well, yet i cannot seem to understand any of my friends handwrighting.

Just out of curiosity – and take it from a foreigner who is not familiar with the US schooling system. In which grade is Nate? And doesn’t he risk meeting his Nemesis again in the near future?

God, now I’m flushed back to my production of “The Wonderful World of Oz.” It was decent, except for this one dude who wouldn’t stop slobbering over me. I had to hire a summer camp bodyguard.
