Nate needs to stop moping and just talk to Daphne and see if they can work it out

Nate is spot-on right there.

They are NOT breaking up. They wouldn’t draw this arc out this long and then actually break them up.

Also, good on Nate for not wanting to hurt Daphne. He’d rather be the hurt one himself.

Been both, done both. The Ted Man is right. It hurts either way.

Teddy’s behavior here is a pretty clear indicator that he has never gone through a real breakup, before. His only “experience” in that department was quite anti-climactic, to say the least.

Hope Nate doesn’t go through with it

Teddy literally broke up with someone, and in that strip it looked like he hurt a lot! Dear god what dumb advice! Of course Nate’s going to hurt in the breakup either way, there’s no way to not be hurt.

I remember those crazy days in school when your “friends” tried to tell you to break up with your girlfriend, that she is going to dump you…..sadly it was usually a lie, and the “friends” were trying to date your girlfriend. It was also the same with the girls.

What if Nate gets detention, and when he gets to the detention room, he discovers…

Daphne’s also there because SHE got detention, and that’s why she couldn’t “hang out with Nate after school”?
