This ad looks like it could have come straight from the pages of National Lampoon.

One of my favorite Bloom County strips. Second only to “Can’t stop! Got Rock and Roll in my soul!”

I think this commercial could still work today, if marketed to grandparents.

Ditto here Plumbob! Always loved this single-panel Sunday. I howled when it was published.

Forget Gene Simmons. They need to sign Bananarama to a promotional contract.

I remember the original computer ad on TV that engendered this take-off. It was cloyingly, flagrantly manipulative, even by advertising standards.

I am of the opinion this is the strip that really put Bloom County on the map in terms of awareness within pop culture.
