I have to say Umbrella Guy is the star of the first two. Having his umbrella folded in the rain, and protecting himself from his watering, are both great.
1. Bozo is always ready to helps. And umbrella guy doesn’t open umbrella only when it rains.
2. Cops have stop chasing the umbrella guy and has begun focusing on Bozo again.
3. When it time to takes a rest it time to takes a rest.
And as usual, not only great funny and enjoyable themes but great artwork with great perspectives, depth, and details. I has seen many impressive comics, but I can say with certainty that this the most impressive one in the ones that I has seen.
And all this without a single word spoken in the comic. And any number of words I speaks to appreciate this wordless wonder is insufficient to express its unfadable glory.
With Bozo, Foxo Reardon continues to brings joy to the world even years after the 1940’s.
Bozo is forever. Bozo is evergreen. Long live Bozo.
I know these were created to run on different days, but I was still just a wee bit sad that Bozo didn’t go bolting through the third one with the cop still on his tail.
The strips are fantastic. Reardon’s creativity within the cartoon grammar of the Bozo-verse seems endless. Just the gag of U.G. in #2 testing his umbrella with the garden hose alone is amazing.
That’s the comic genius of Foxo…….raining and umbrella is closed then in #2 Fuzzy makes his own rain….too funny!!! Also funny how many of our comments focus on Fuzzy instead of Bozo. Fuzzy, the comic within the comic!!!!!
Foxo Reardon had a talent for drawing and getting laughs out of his readers consistent with his talent. That takes skill and imagination which he was able to be quotidian in its use. A high level of art and humor churned out 365 days a year for decade or more per strip.A pearl of great price I was ignorant of till Gent here alerted me to it here at gocomics.

Does it seem whenever it’s raining the Umbrella Guy is standing with a closed umbrella?

1. Come on, Bozo. Carry a couple of her bags so she can hold her own umbrella.
2. If Bozo can’t outrun that tub of lard I’ll be surprised.
3. Come on, Bozo, get with the program!

1) Bozo’s cigar needs it’s own umbrella. 2)The umbrella guy makes his own rain. 3) The umbrella guy has reached his peak. Bozo decided to ‘park’.

1. Bozo is a man of wonder (actually, people wonder, is that man for real?)
2. Knock knock, just passing through.
3. Bozo did not want the other climbers to get too far ahead.

The Imp of the Perverse is busy today in the strips.
1) Looks like good Samaritan Bozo will help the lady, only instead he takes the umbrella to hold over her instead of some or all of the heavy luggage.
2) Courtesy first (ringing the door bell) then Bozo runs through a lady’s home while running again from a cop.
3) Mountain climbing and Bozo takes a siesta in mid climb.
