Breaking Cat News by Georgia Dunn for April 15, 2017

It’s getting a bit cooler at night here, so my wife has brought out the fuzzy blankets. Not for us, of course, but for The Most Important Member Of The Household. She (The Most Important Member, not my wife) burrowed under them straight away.

Awwww. We don’t see poofy Puck very often :)

We have a burrower at our home too. She insists on immediate access to a space under the covers – what we refer to as “The Panther Cave”.

Dangit. It’s after midnight and reading about pepperoni and cheese snacks has made me hungry. Thanks a lot Pucky.

No static though. It’s been way too rainy for that.

My old girl Sofia spends most of her day burrowed under the bed comforter. Once a contractor working in the bedroom put his clipboard down on the bed and almost had a heart attack when she exploded from underneath the cover. The guy jumped so high he almost hit the ceiling (he also screamed like a girl).

Static Punk. A true rarity.

We could tell how cold it was by how far under the electric blanket Cafe burrowed. Footof the bed was equal to zero outside.

Appears that Pucky is #1 at finding the feline interest stories. COMFORT!!!

There IS a cat inside all that poof.

We call that burrowing “felunking” at my house, and only one of the four participate. The other three stay on top, a state of being we call being “all kittied up”.

The comic is made all the more funny to me since I used to be a meteorologist.

We have two burrowers. We refer to those area as “lumps ’cats”.Our current foster reminds me of Puck. He’s black, has a bum back paw and is the sweetest thing ever. He wants to be held, petted, massaged – he becomes a floppy rag doll when I hold him.

Georgia’s illustrations, layout, copy lettering & color continue to be exceptional in change for syndication. Should also be great in B&W format!

We can sometimes tell the temperature by the number of cats on the bed. Last night was a three cat night, but the other two were in the girls’ rooms.

There’s nothing like a storm of coziness and pepperoni and cheese snacks to make the perfect cocktail of comfy-coziness.

Supposedly the Eskimos judged a cold night by how many sled dogs they invited inside to provide heat. A Three Dog Night was fairly cold…also the name of a rock group!

ah..poor Pucky looks so cute when he goes poof! Curse you static!

I’ll do that on thursday (no gem school on friday!)
