Try using “arthropod” instead of “bug.” That’ll make it sound better.

Pam should be more concerned for Dr. Mel; every time he runs an experiment, he damages his Winky!

According to the original strip, Dr Mel was trying to turn Winkey into a giant bat.

“As Winky awoke one morning from uneasy dreams he found himself transformed in his bed into a gigantic insectivore-like creature.” That has possibilities.

Because the ship is traveling at such high rates of speed, Winky is still a kid on the ship even though Earth time is advancing rapidly.

Turn him into a bug with potions. Turn him into a bug with a teleportation device. Been digested by a giant bug. Winky’s seen it all. And thankfully Agent X will make sure this isn’t published any where other then the station.
