People are smart, mobs are not. A wrong voice can pour gasoline onto a crowds common sense & light a match to it.

Sad and dismaying, but logic, facts and science have no effect on them!

I’ve already received my two vaccinations, so it isn’t risky at all.

@ramonmister28 – even if one survives there can long term, even permanent, lung damage: https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/coronavirus/covid-long-haulers-long-term-effects-of-covid19

Plus, treatment for other problems, such as heart attacks, is compromised when hospitals are overwhelmed with Covid cases and no not have resources left over to treat other conditions.

For many, mostly the airheads, they do the opposite of what they read. The scientist should’ve said, “Don’t take the covid vaccine.”

That would be Ivermectin which has been used to treat parasites, tropical illnesses, and malaria in humans for close to 40 years. Who’s following the science again?

Why is a comic strip spreading misinformation? While ivermectin is used as a animal de-wormer, it has been used for years by humans to treat roundworm, rosacea, and lice. That being said, anyone who seeks it out and takes it without a doctor’s direction it just stupid.

Yep, you should never ever use a medicine that is ONLY intended for animals. or just maybe—- “Ivermectin is an anti-parasitic drug that is used to treat river blindness and intestinal roundworm infection in humans and to de-worm pets and livestock. Lotions and creams containing ivermectin are also used to treat head lice and rosacea”

The best humor is based in reality. This strip is based on misinformation.

“Deworming medicine” is grossly reductive, and intentionally misleading.

This is why cartoonists who submit strips weeks in advance need to avoid short term topical items. More often than not they end up looking foolish and uninformed.

An Andy Marlett cartoon shows two Florida gators smiling and what looked like the remains of some poor fool, their recent meal. Behind them, one gator has added “Fauci says” to a sign saying DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS.

One says to the other, “I’ve never eaten so well. That was sheer genius!!”

My wife’s cousin had a heart attack and was scheduled for open heart surgery today. His surgery has been postponed twice. When an ICU bed becomes available, a Covid idiot ass is bumped ahead of him. He could die, due to the fools rejecting a free and effective vaccine. That is criminal.

I wonder what he’s talking about? Sounds sort of like Ivermectin, but that’s been used in humans before covid came along. Of course, you can do BOTH, too. (BTW, I’ve been vaccinated and haven’t tried Ivermectin.)

Depends upon whether you’re in the 2%, and don’t mind spending a few weeks on a ventilator…or go with Florida governor DiStiupid, whose new medical person is hyping Ivermectin and voodo.
